WorkSpace FileStudio Pane Options
Explains how a WorkSpace pane can open FileStudio with a locked base dataset and context-aware visibility rules.
A WorkSpace pane can open FileStudio with a locked starting dataset.
This is useful when one pane should show only one controlled register view, such as one catalog, one incoming stream, one outgoing stream, or one status-based desk.
The FileStudio pane options currently include Main Records or Catalog, Date From, Date To, Document Type, Correspondent From, Correspondent To, Status, Flags, Folders, Tags, and Visible To.
For Document Type, Correspondent From, and Correspondent To, the choice is intentional. None means that pane shows nothing for that field group until you choose values. All removes the restriction for that field group.
When the pane opens FileStudio, those pane filters become the locked base dataset. Users can still use normal FileStudio column filters to narrow the result further, but they cannot use FileStudio itself to widen the pane-defined dataset.
If the pane is rooted in a specific catalog, FileStudio opens directly in that catalog.
