Cover Pages in TableStudio PDF Export
Explains how document cover pages and sheet cover pages are included in PDF export and where they appear in the final page order.
TableStudio can include 2 kinds of cover pages in PDF export:
- one cover page for the entire file
- one cover page before each sheet that has its own cover enabled
In the Export PDF window, turn on Include cover pages when present to include them.
When that option is enabled, the exported PDF uses this order:
- document cover page, if the file cover exists and is enabled
- index page, if included
- cover page for the first selected sheet, if that sheet has one enabled
- sheet pages for that sheet
- attached PDF documents used by that sheet, if included
- then the same pattern repeats for the next selected sheet
If a cover page is missing or disabled, TableStudio simply skips it.
These cover pages are embedded DocStudio documents stored inside the .wstable file, so their layout follows the DocStudio page design rather than the worksheet grid.
