Column Type: Date
Date-formatted columns with picker support, date arithmetic, and file-level display formatting.
Use the date column type for schedule dates, deadlines, issue dates, and similar calendar values.
Date columns use the file-level date format from File > File Settings. The default format is dd-mm-yyyy. Clicking a date cell can open the date picker.
If you start editing with =, TableStudio keeps the cell in formula mode instead of opening the picker. Direct date references such as =A1 stay valid, and arithmetic such as =A1+5 returns the shifted date when the referenced value is actually date-like.
If a date column is scoped so that some rows behave like text, ISO-style date values and formula-produced ISO dates on those rows still display using the active file date format.
For the dedicated date-function guide, open Date Formulas.
Picked dates and date formulas
A date column can mix selected dates with formula-driven offsets while still displaying the active file date format.
